Baptist Home of Ashland celebrates with a Ribbon Cutting for their Congregate Living Facility

April 1, 2021 Columbia, MO – The Baptist Home of Ashland celebrated the Grand Opening of the new residential apartments at the Ashland campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by administrative staff, board members, residents of the residential care community, construction and design team members, and other members of the surrounding community.  Following the outdoor ceremony, attendees were encouraged to attend a groundbreaking for the continuum of care facility and Duke-Nelson Chapel that will mark the completion of the campus.  The new facility will include a 48,000 sq. ft. Assisted Living, Intermediate Care, and Skilled Nursing Home.  At the heart of this phase of construction will be the 1,900 sq. ft. Duke-Nelson Chapel.  After the groundbreaking, attendees were encouraged to tour the new Congregate Living Apartments.

The Baptist Home ministry has existed for over a century with the goal of providing Christ-like care to the aging.  These new facilities mark a critical point for the development of their latest location in central Missouri.
