Since 1978, PWA has maintained a consistent Mid-Missouri presence, providing local project leadership to public and private institutions in our region on hundreds of projects. Through this work, we have gained considerable practical knowledge and experience in designing various types of facilities. More importantly, we have established relationships that have helped us develop a keen sense of the process required to successfully plan, design, and construct modern spaces.

Columbia Fire Station 11
Fire Station 11 in Columbia, Missouri, spans 11,000 square feet and features three apparatus bays, training and exercise areas, work, sleep, and living quarters, and a police substation.
Boone County Nature School
Students attend classes at the Boone County Nature School to experience a unique place-based curriculum. Columbia Public Schools has shared this time-lapse video of the project.
Columbia Independent School
Columbia Independent School celebrated the Grand Opening of the 94,000 SF Upper School wing addition and renovation to their campus in September 2024.
