Who we are
What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and What third parties we receive data from Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
We use a website theme contact form to manage contact form submissions. The information is sent as email messages that only a select few at PWA are allowed to access. The information is also stored in the database on our hosting server for backup and later reference purposes.
The PWA website (https://PWArchitects.com) places cookies, which are small data files, on your computer or handheld device. This is standard practice for all websites.
By using and browsing the PWA website, you consent to cookies being used in accordance with our policy. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies or refrain from using the site.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
When someone visits https://PWArchitects.com, we use third-party services, Google Analytics and Statcounter, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. To maintain your privacy, we do not make and do not allow either Google or Statcounter to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Who we share your data with
PWA uses your personal data for electronic marketing purposes (with your consent) and may send you postal mail to update you on the latest PWA information and services.
PWA aims to update you about products & services which are of interest and relevance to you as an individual. You have the right to opt-out of receiving promotional communications at any time, by:
- Making use of the simple “unsubscribe” link in emails and/or
- Contacting PWA via the contact channels set out in this Policy.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our communication materials via email. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve these communications. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our Marketing Coordinator Dawn Andres.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Email or mail your request to the contact listed below.
