Excerpt from an article in Missouri Democrat-News: Missouri Valley College hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an open house party to unveil the design for the Malcolm Center for Student Life Thursday, July 24, a student center that’s seven years in the making. Missouri Valley College administrators, students, teachers, alumni, members of the Marshall Chamber of Commerce, and Marshall citizens were all invited to witness and tour the 37,000-square-foot facility.

“We were very pleased with the turnout from the community, and the campus is excited the building is open,” Vice President of Institutional Advancement Eric Sappington said. “We’re thrilled the way the building has turned out and excited about the students to return and see and get a chance to be in the facility.”
