PWArchitects, Inc., a commercial architecture firm that offers customized design solutions to their clients, announced today that they will be moving their architectural office to a new building in southwest Columbia.

The Conservation Department wished to consolidate their two facilities into one to make their Columbia operations more efficient, consolidate research and management, and save them money over the long term.
The new Williams-Keepers office, prominently located in a two-story office building in Columbia, Missouri is an approximately 20,000 square foot build-out of a shell space. Having grown out of a three-level building with an inefficient layout, their new space would be all on one level which would allow for the number of common facilities to be reduced and consolidated.
Working closely with the local and statewide representatives and staff of the United Methodist Church, PWA developed a functional, energy efficient and environmentally sensitive design for this 16,000 square foot office building which is located in the sensitive Hinkson Creek watershed.

The Conservation Campus Nature Center, located within the forests and park lands of the 189-acre Cape Girardeau County Park North and adjacent to the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Regional Headquarters, is the sixth such facility in the State of Missouri.
PWA designed and provided construction administration services for this 18,000 square foot new office building located in northeast Columbia. It is a custom concrete tilt-up building that combines both an office/showroom and a furniture warehouse.
PWA designed and oversaw the construction of this 4,500 square foot multipurpose office building and community center. PWA worked closely with the Moberly Housing Authority staff to develop a functional, energy efficient and environmentally sensitive design for this green building.
The 4,200 square foot Hannibal Housing Authority Office features a brick exterior with offices positioned on the exterior wall of the building, stair-stepped to take advantage of view, southern exposure and desirable winter solar gain.
COPELCO Capital, a business financing and telecommunications company headquartered in New Jersey, wished to add on to their existing 6,500 square foot building. With the growing business world, COPELCO saw a need to expand the facility to accommodate approximately 200 employees. PWA was brought on board to meet these needs.
Boone Electric, founded in 1936, has experienced phenomenal growth along with the area it serves. To accommodate this growth, the vehicle maintenance facility addition nearly doubled the existing office area, as well as the vehicle maintenance service facility. Furthermore, all areas were brought up to code, including ADA.
