The new Boone County Emergency Operations facility, to be run by the county and located at the back of the county’s facility property near the county jail and sheriffs annex, joins the forces of the previous city and county EOCs into an integrated facility that will serve the community for decades to come.
The J.W. “Blind” Boone Residence is a significant part of Columbia’s history. The recognition of this building lies not only in the memory of the native Missouri artist, pianist, and philanthropist John William Boone, but also in the history of the African-American community in Columbia.

PWA worked with the City of Columbia to design a new Fleet Operations Maintenance Building that would accommodate six to eight vehicles and be fully CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) compliant)

The new 12,826 sq. ft. fire station on Rock Hill Road in Jefferson City is a 1 story, 3-1/2-bay Craftsman-style building with two small mezzanines in the apparatus bay for storage.
PWA worked with Walker Parking Consultants/Engineers, Inc. on this 5-level parking garage located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. The Short Street garage includes 423 parking spaces, of which nine are designated for handicap parking.

The Conservation Department wished to consolidate their two facilities into one to make their Columbia operations more efficient, consolidate research and management, and save them money over the long term.
PWA worked with Walker Parking Consultants/Engineers, Inc. on this 8-story parking structure located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. The parking garage has about 703 spaces and provides about 48 spaces of secure parking for Columbia police vehicles.
The City of Boonville, Missouri considered several options and then hired PWA and Counsilman-Hunsaker to develop the design for an outdoor leisure pool with a concessions building, bathhouse, shading canopies and a pump house.
PWA worked with the State of Missouri, roofing consultants and roofing contractors to complete the roofing replacement and parapet restoration project on the Missouri State Capitol Building.
