A proponent of sustainable architecture, Erik evaluates construction methods and materials with a critical focus on life-cycle costs.

An officer of the firm, Kim Trabue has coordinated the daily operations of the firm for thirty-one years. Detail-oriented, and highly organized, she offers broad knowledge of the complex workings of construction administration and firm management. Her pursuit of creative efficiency manifested in her commitment to chair the local Canstruction design/build competition from 1998 – 2015.

Eric Roselle lends his artistic skills and experience in computer-aided design to many of PWA’s projects. He is well-versed in the overall use of computer technology for web site design and graphic presentations and is skilled in both digital modeling and hand-rendering. His past experience has included Section 106 cultural resource surveys, Fair Housing Act/ADA compliance studies, and the preparation of both National Register Nominations and Historic American Building surveys and studies.

As marketing coordinator for the firm, Dawn uses her photography, database, and graphic design skills to focus and develop the marketing efforts of the firm. Her most recent projects have included the firm’s soft rebranding and the redesign of the company’s website and marketing materials. She has volunteered her time to organizations such as CSI and the local chapter of Ducks Unlimited for various fundraising events.

A graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Environmental Design, Lee has over 15 years of experience in the field of architecture, planning, development, and the management of construction documents. With experience and skill in architectural drafting and an ability to work one on one with clients, he has played a key leadership role in the completion of many technical and demanding projects for the firm.

Heidi Hyland received her Master of Architecture from Kansas State University in 2011, after which she accepted an architectural internship with the firm. Since joining the firm Heidi has taken on-field measuring, drafting, computer modeling, and presentation development duties. In 2019, she earned the LEED Green Associate credential. These skills and previous architectural design studies have enhanced her ability to provide support services to clients and design team members.

Dylan Powell completed his Master of Architecture from Kansas State University in 2011. He then accepted an architectural internship with the firm. His responsibilities include field measuring, code analysis, budget preparation, drafting, computer modeling, and presentation development duties. He works well with other design team members and clients, providing critical project support when needed. An advocate for sustainable design, he most recently co-presented a lecture with Steve MacIntyre (planner for the City of Columbia) on Accessory Dwelling Units as part of the Sustainable Living Fair 2014. Previous architectural competitions, exhibitions, and studies abroad in Leipzig, Berlin, and Dessau, Germany have enhanced his ability to provide support services to clients and design team members.
